Laie, Hawaii Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints grounds are open to the public but the temple itself is only for church members. It is sometime referred to as the "Taj Mahal of the Pacific" as well as the first temple build outside the continental United States. The beautiful flowers and reflection pool are stunning.

The Laie Hawaii Temple is the 5th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Laie Hawaii Temple marks a significant milestone in the Church because it the oldest still operating temple that was built outside of the State of Utah. The building of the temple was announced in October General Conference in 1915.

The LDS Laie Hawaii Temple can be reached from the Polynesian Culture Center by taking a short Trolley Bus drive from the Center. The Temple is situated in well-manicured gardens with magnificent fountains and water features on the grounds. We could not enter the main Temple but the LDS Missionaries took us to the Temple Visitors Centre where.
